Chino Hills Trash Collection

Currently, the City of Chino Hills contracts with Republic Services for all waste and recycling collection services in the City through June 30, 2022. Commercial customers have several disposal options depending on their needs and the amount of waste generated. If you have questions regarding commercial trash services or need assistance determining the level of service that is right for your business, please contact Republic Services or visit their website for more information.

New Waste and Recycling Services Begin July 1

Effective July 1, 2022, the City of Chino Hills will be transitioning from its current waste and recycling service provider to Waste Management (WM). We appreciate your patience throughout the transition process.

WM is working with the City's current waste hauler to begin the change of equipment to WM commercial bin(s) throughout the City. As of May 23, WM has begun switching out commercial bins in areas of Chino Hills. This will be a phased approach based on business location within the City. WM will swap commercial bins with little to no interruption to businesses and it does not require anything on the businesses side.

Customers will be notified by WM ahead of time when they are scheduled to receive the new bin(s). A W team will come to remove your existing bin(s) and replace them with new W commercial bin(s). Customers will receive the same number and size of the bin(s) as they currently have. Republic Services will continue to service the new bin(s) until WM begins collection service on July 1, 2022.

WM will be mailing customers a Commercial Waste and Recycling Guide with important information about your new service.

Important Notice Regarding Recycling and Organics

All businesses will be automatically enrolled to receive recycling and organic waste service by September 1, 2022, in compliance with the State of California's mandatory commercial recycling laws SB 1383, AB 341, and AB 1826.
