The City of Chino Hills is offering free COVID-19 tests on Friday, March 5 (rescheduled from March 3); and Wednesdays, March 17, and 31 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, inside the barn at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center, 14280 Peyton Drive. Face coverings are required. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years old. COVID-19 testing is encouraged for everyone, even without symptoms. Residents are encouraged to get tested to help Chino Hills move to the Red Tier. The level of testing in a community is one of the metrics the State is using to determine when a community can advance through the tiers and more businesses can open. There is no charge for the test.
Appointments are strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. The County of San Bernardino will activate appointment registration for testing events approximately five to seven days before the event date. Visit www.sbcovid19.com and select “County Testing Sites” to make an appointment or call (909) 387-3911. Additional COVID-19 testing locations are available on the website. Participants will be asked for health insurance information when registering but will never receive a bill. Participants will not be charged a co-pay nor share the cost for the test. Persons who do not have insurance or do not want to provide insurance will still be registered and tested.
Another convenient mobile COVID-19 testing site is located at The Shoppes at Chino Hills, 13920 City Center Drive. The Community Testing Bus will be in the southeast parking lot at the corner of Boys Republic Drive and Shoppes Drive from Wednesday, February 24 through Sunday, February 28. Appointments are required. Visit www.lhi.care/covidtesting or call (888) 634-1123 to schedule an appointment. Testing is available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
