2021 SOC - Newsflash

The City of Chino Hills annual 2021 State of the City video is now available to watch on the City’s website at www.chinohills.org/StateoftheCity. The event took place virtually on Thursday, May 27 via Zoom. A recording is also airing through the end of June on the City’s CityTV Channel 3/41 for residents with Spectrum (channel 3) or Frontier (channel 41) television service.

The event was hosted by Mayor Brian Johsz and this year’s theme was “Unity Within Community,” reflecting on the challenges of 2020 and the strength and perseverance within our Chino Hills community. As the City celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, the event provided a brief update on the City’s financial outlook today as compared to one of the City’s first annual budgets nearly 30 years ago. Mayor Johsz and City Council Members delivered insights on how the City navigated the pandemic and quickly adapted to continue providing services and resources to residents and business owners. The virtual event also provided an overview of new projects and initiatives throughout the City, updates on ongoing activities, and highlighted the unsung heroes within the Chino Hills Community.
