The 2024 Presidential Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 5, 2024. All active registered California voters will automatically receive a vote-by-mail ballot. Registered voters may use a vote-by-mail ballot instead of going to the polls on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned by mail using prepaid postage as long as it's postmarked on or before March 5, 2024.
You can also return your vote-by-mail ballot in person to a secure ballot drop box, to a voting location, or the County elections office by 8:00 pm on March 5, 2024. There is a secure official permanent Ballot Drop Box located in front of the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library at 14020 City Center Drive in Chino Hills. Voters can drop off their vote-by-mail ballots to that location 24/7 from now until election day at 8:00 pm.
The Chino Hills City Clerk's office is also an official ballot drop-off location. Those wishing to place their ballots into an indoor box can visit the City Clerk's Office on the second floor of City Hall at 14000 City Center Drive during normal business hours: Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
