Description:

The Work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization/demobilization, site shoring, demolition, site grading, site piping, site work, construction of concrete foundations, cartridge filters, granular activate carbon (GAC) system, backwash and surge tanks, pump station improvements, chemical building/ storage and feed systems, electrical and control systems, landscaping and irrigation, perimeter wall, fencing and gates, startup and performance testing, operation and maintenance (O&M) manual, and other work and appurtenances required for the completion of the project.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting:  Prospective bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting which will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chino Hills City Hall – Council Chambers, 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA  91709.  Failure to participate in the pre-bid meeting will render a bidder non-responsive.

NOTICE/REMINDER:  

A mandatory pre-bid meeting for the 1,2,3-TCP Removal Treatment Plant Project will be held in-person on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Chino Hills City Hall – Council Chambers (14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA 91709). 

In addition, a pre-bid “optional” walk-through/ tour of the project site and Booster 9 (B-9) facility (located east of 3982 Eucalyptus Avenue, Chino Hills, CA 91709) will immediately follow after the pre-bid meeting.  (Please see attached map showing directions and the suggested parking area.)

Please note that all attendees are required to wear face coverings/masks and to social distance during the indoor meeting as well as at the project site and facility.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (***See link under Description).
