The work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization; traffic control; the removal and reconstruction of deteriorated pavement; grind and overlay asphalt pavement; striping; adjustment of utility manholes and covers; adjustment of utility valve cans and covers; construction of PCC curb access ramps, driveways, sidewalks, retaining walls, retaining curbs, and walls; and removal and replacement of fencing on Sierra Vista Drive and Del Norte Avenue.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A or Class C12 Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
