    May 18, 2021, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Chino Hills Government Center (Peyton Drive Parking Lot)

    The City of Chino Hills is hosting weekly blood drives every Tuesday through the end of June from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the Government Center parking lot located at 14077 Peyton Drive. Appointments are recommended and can be made by phone at (800) 879-4484 or online at www.LStream.org/CityofChinoHills. LifeStream is testing all complete blood donations for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This testing is provided free of charge as an additional benefit to donors. This test shows whether you have been exposed to the virus in the past, not if you are currently infected. LifeStream is following all protocols including social distancing, sanitation, and cleaning. Their staff are using personal protective equipment and all donors are required to wear face coverings.

  3. Free COVID-19 Testing at McCoy Equestrian and Recreation Center

    May 19, 2021, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Tests will be conducted inside the barn at the McCoy Equestrian and Recreation Center located at 14280 Peyton Drive. Face coverings are required. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years old. COVID-19 testing is encouraged for everyone. No symptoms are required to get a COVID19 test. Appointments are strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. The County of San Bernardino will activate appointment registration for testing events approximately five to seven days before the event date. Visit www.sbcovid19.com and select “COVID-19 Testing Sites” to make an appointment or call (909) 387-3911. Additional COVID-19 testing locations are available on the website. Participants will be asked for health insurance information when registering but will never receive a bill. Participants will not be charged a co-pay nor share the cost for the test. Persons who do not have insurance or do not want to provide insurance will still be registered and tested.

    The City of Chino Hills will present its annual State of the City address virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 4:00 pm via Zoom. The event will be hosted by Mayor Brian Johsz and the theme this year is “Unity Within Community,” reflecting on the challenges of 2020 and the strength and perseverance within our Chino Hills community. As the City celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, the event will provide a brief update on our financial outlook today as compared to our first annual budget nearly 30 years ago.
