Roundabout outside City Hall
Learn more about the Public Works Department and their role in the City’s operations during an open house event. Several large pieces of equipment will be on display to highlight a few of the many tools which are needed to keep the water flowing, the toilets flushing, the traffic moving, and the parks ready for enjoyment. Children will enjoy being up close with the City’s largest tractor. A hydro excavator truck and the sanitation camera truck, which inspects sewer pipes, will be on-site as well. A large water model will also be on display to demonstrate how rainwater is stored in the underground aquifer. The Engineering Division will also be onsite to share how the City keeps Chino Hills safe and environmentally friendly for residents.
