The Chino Hills Military Service Monument was dedicated to the City of Chino Hills on January 18, 2020, as a lasting tribute to honor the courage, sacrifice, and commitment of the men and women who have served, or currently serve, in the United States Armed Forces in time of peace and war.
Located on the northwest side of the Chino Hills Community Center, the monument was made possible by a generous $66,000 donation from the Chino Hills 55+ Club and their Veterans Group, who raised the funds through community-supported fundraising events and the sale of personalized tribute bricks placed at the base of the monument.
The adjacent flagpole was later dedicated during the annual Veterans Day Salute to Service Ceremony on November 10, 2021, further honoring the courage and sacrifice of our military heroes. Not to be forgotten are the families and friends of these heroes.
