Accessibility

The City of Chino Hills seeks to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which was signed into law on July 26, 1990, by President George H.W. Bush. The City of Chino Hills does not discriminate on the basis of disability and seeks to provide equal access for all to City services, programs, and activities.

To be protected by the ADA, one must have a disability, which is defined by the ADA as a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, a person who has a history or record of such an impairment, or a person who is perceived by others as having such an impairment.  At the City of Chino Hills, Assistant City Manager Rod Hills serves as the ADA/504 Coordinator. Helpful contact information is listed in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

ADA Self-evaluation and Transition Plan Update In Progress

The plan provides a comprehensive plan for accessibility for persons with disabilities to City facilities, programs, services, activities, and events.
