Engineering

The Engineering Division is responsible for implementing the City's Capital Improvement Program and overseeing land development projects. Staff manage all phases of engineering projects from planning and design to construction oversight and quality assurance.

Core responsibilities include:

• Project management
• Engineering design
• Technical review
• Construction drawings
• Contract preparation
• Documentation throughout construction

In addition, staff are responsible for issuing and managing transportation permits and encroachment permits in the public right-of-way, drainage and sewer master planning, pavement management, and record drawings management.
