Adopt-A-Family

The City of Chino Hills established the "Adopt-A-Family" Program in 2005 to assist families experiencing financial hardship or circumstances that may prevent them from providing food, clothing, and toys for their families during the holidays. Families qualify for the program through an application process. Residents, local businesses, and community groups are asked to "adopt" these families to provide them with the items they need so they may have a happy holiday season.

Wish lists provided by qualified families will be used as a guideline for donors. Donors will be asked to prioritize the clothing needs of children under the age of 18, followed by any toy requests. Additional gifts for adult family members, such as parents or adult children 18 years and older, are optional and not guaranteed. Donors are asked to provide 4-6 items per child.
