Types of Swim Lessons

Group Swim Lessons

Our one-week group swim lessons teach kids how to have fun in and around the pool while learning stroke development, basic swimming skills, and water safety. Group lessons meet five times for 45 minutes per class, with 4-6 students per instructor. Limit one class per week.

Ages: 3-15 years

Private Swim Lessons

Our private swim lessons offer one week of one-on-one swim instruction that is individualized for each participant based on their skill level. Private Swim lessons meet five times for 30 minutes per class. Limit one class per week.

Ages: 3+ years

First Day

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow enough time to check in and find a seat in the bleachers for parent information meeting.

Testing

Please be advised that the first day of lessons is a "testing day." Participants are directed to an area of the pool according to their ages and asked to perform a variety of swimming skills. The "test" is conducted so that the instructors may determine the most appropriate level in which to place your child. The testing and placement of students takes approximately 15 minutes.

Policies

All children must be 100% potty trained before the start of class.

Refund Policy

All refund requests MUST be submitted in writing and turned in 10 business days prior to the week you are cancelling. Refunds will be granted if your spot can be filled with someone on the waitlist and a refund request form is completed and submitted to the Chino Hills Community Center.
