Waste Management (WM), the City of Chino Hills’ contracted solid waste hauler, is preparing to update some residential trash collection routes in early 2026 to improve efficiency and consistency of service. Preliminary route adjustments were recently presented at a City Council Meeting, however, routes and changes are still being finalized. Most residents will not be affected by these updates. Only about 25 percent of residents will see changes to their regular trash collection day. WM will notify affected households directly beginning in December 2025.
No changes will take effect until after the holidays, starting in February 2026. Residents should continue to place carts out at the curb on their normal collection day until notified otherwise.
