[ARCHIVED] Chino Hills Police Release Photo of Citibank Robbery Suspect

On August 4, 2016, at 4:51 p.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff’s station responded to a silent alarm call at Citibank on Pipeline Avenue. Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.

Date/Time Occurred: Thursday, August 4, 2016 / 4:51 p.m.Crime or Incident: P.C. 211- Robbery
Location: Citibank - 14808 Pipeline Avenue, Chino Hills
Suspect: Adult male, medium complexion, light colored eyes, dark mustache and beard, 5’8-5’10 with a medium build.
Clothing description: grey hat, black shirt, long black shorts, black ankle socks and black shoes with red laces.

Through investigation it was determined the suspect entered the bank, and after a short wait he approached the teller and handed her a hand written note. After reading the note, the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the bank. The suspect claimed he had a weapon but never brandished it. It is unknown if the suspect left on foot or in a car once he exited the bank.
