About the Legislative Advocacy Committee

The City of Chino Hills Legislative Advocacy Committee is a City Council Standing Committee. Its purpose is to establish a formal proactive outreach policy for promoting intergovernmental relationships with elected officials and legislative staff from the State Assembly District, State Senatorial District, U.S. Congressional District, and the U.S. Senators representing the State.

The Committee works to establish relationships that enhance the City's role relating to current and potential legislation and other matters that could affect the City by developing proactive legislative strategies to preserve and enhance the City's ability to maintain acceptable program service levels through additional revenues and reduced mandates.

Member Information
The City of Chino Hills Legislative Advocacy Committee is comprised of two Council Members appointed by the full City Council annually.

Meeting Schedule
The Legislative Advocacy Committee meets on an as-needed basis in the City Council Conference Room on the second floor of City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive, in Chino Hills, unless otherwise noted.

Notices of public meetings and their agendas are posted on this website in outside the Council Chambers at City Hall.
