Stage II Water Restrictions
Even though the drought is in intermission, the City of Chino Hills still has a Stage II Conservation Ordinance in place. California experiences significant changes in weather from year to year. This factor, among others, has led the State Water Resources Control Board to adopt permanent water-use regulations that prohibit specific water wasting practices.
The current Stage II Conservation Ordinance allows for more outdoor irrigation, but still prohibits wasteful practices. Staying water efficient year-round helps to conserve this critical resource, prepare for future challenges, and maintain the Chino Hills lifestyle for future generations. Conservation must be our way of life!
