As part of the City of Chino Hills' continued goal of transparency, we have included the State Controller's Compensation Report for the City of Chino Hills' municipal employees and elected officials.
The City of Chino Hills' offers a flexible spending/cafeteria plan for employees to select benefits to meet their needs.
The City contracts CalPERS as our health plan administrator. CalPERS offers up to eight HMO and three PPO health plans. Dental insurance is administrated by Delta Dental who offers an HMO and PPO Plan; Vision insurance is offered through VSP Vision; Life & Disability Insurance is offered through Lincoln Financial.
Employees are covered by the San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association (SBCERA). This retirement system is independent of CalPERS but may also be linked to a CalPERS retirement through reciprocity.
Voluntary Benefits include: Additional Life, Accident, and Critical Illness Insurance, 457 (b) Deferred Compensation Plans, 401 (a) Money Purchase Plan, 529 College Savings Plan, Pet Insurance, and participation in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
