Using recycled water reduces reliance on scarce and expensive potable water. Recycled water is the treatment of wastewater to produce water of suitable quality for non-potable or recycled water beneficial uses. The City uses recycled water for:
- Golf courses
- School landscape
- Parks and greenbelt areas
- Parkways and medians
- Construction sites for compaction and dust control
