Caltrans Projects
California highways and freeways are the responsibility of the State of California and are managed by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Caltrans periodically performs construction work on State Routes 57, 60, 71, 91, and 142 (Carbon Canyon Road) surrounding Chino Hills. The City of Chino Hills falls primarily within Caltrans District 8, however many of the surrounding highways fall within neighboring Caltrans Districts 7 and 12.
Residents are encouraged to sign-up for each of the different agency's alerts to stay informed about projects, roadway impacts, and potential delays affecting their routes.
