Montecito Drive Transit Access Improvements Project

The City has received both a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and San Bernardino County Transportation Authority Grant (SCBA) providing federal funding for improvements within Los Serranos area including, but not limited to, street rehabilitation, new curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation, right-of-way and utility improvements, and other related work items. City staff has designated work limits to be within Montecito Drive between Los Serranos Boulevard and Lugo Avenue for this project.

Project Description:

The work compromises, but is not limited to; mobilization; traffic control; the removal and reconstruction of deteriorated pavement up to 7"; grind and overlay asphalt pavement up to 2"; striping; adjustment of utility manholes and covers; adjustment of utility valve cans, covers, and hydrant blowoffs; construction of PCC access ramps; storm drain improvements; street light conduits; driveway approaches; sidewalks; fence removal and replacement; retaining curbs and slough walls along Montecito Drive between Los Serranos Boulevard and Lugo Avenue.

*Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: Prospective bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Montecito Drive and Lugo Avenue, in Chino Hills, CA 91709.
