New Construction Plan Submittal Process

• Contact the Building and Safety Division at 909-364-2780 to obtain the submittal requirements.
• Schedule an appointment for plan submittal at the Community Development Counter.
• The permit technician will go over the submittal requirements and help gather any additional information required to submit the plans.
• The following must happen prior to the submittal of the project:
  • Approval of the Soils and Geology Report
  • Approval of the project by the Planning Commission
  • Submittal of the Precise Grading Permit Application (PDF)
• Once a submittal has been deemed complete, the plans will be routed to the Building and Safety Division and Planning Division. Separate submittals must be made to Chino Valley Independent Fire District and San Bernardino Environmental Health.
• Plan review time is generally 15 business days. Larger projects will require more time.

Tenant Improvements / Interior Remodels

Contact the Building and Safety Division at (909-364-2780 to obtain the submittal requirements.
