In the event of an extended major Citywide emergency, additional information may be found on:

Please note that the TV channels cannot be updated remotely, so these channels are only updated during normal business hours.

City App

The City app is NOT a source of Emergency information.  Visiting the City Website is the best place to go to keep up-to-date during emergencies.

San Bernardino County Emergency Alerts

To quickly communicate information on impending dangers, the San Bernardino County Sheriff and Fire Departments send high-speed mass notifications via telephone and text message.

San Bernardino County Alerts

Those without internet connections can sign up by calling 211 or (909) 980-2857 for assistance in registering.

The City of Chino Hills and the County of San Bernardino utilize multiple methods to notify residents of impending danger; however, residents should not wait for or rely exclusively on any single notification system. If you are concerned about your safety and welfare, please evacuate.

Local Radio and TV Stations

Tune in to local radio and television stations, as well. Remember, social media can alert you to an emergency but often provides misinformation. Always select official, reliable sources of information!
