National Night Out 2021

2021 NNO Web-02

We missed connecting with our community members during National Night Out last year and are excited to share it will return this year!

Join the City of Chino Hills’ award-winning National Night Out program and register to host your own event in your neighborhood on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The evening will be modified to take place in accordance with State guidelines in place at the time of the event.

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

NNO is designed to:

  • Decrease crime
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships

How Can I Participate?

Neighborhoods across the nation participate each year by joining together with their neighbors, families, and friends to host their own neighborhood events. Examples of ideas include pot lucks, ice cream socials, block gatherings, and activities for kids.

Your participation in this annual event tells others that you:

  • Want to make your neighborhood safer
  • Want to build a strong relationship with public safety officials
  • Want to promote a sense of community

It's A Good Night To Get To Know Your Neighbors!

The City has been helping neighborhoods organize NNO events since 2005. In 2018, the City's NNO event was ranked #19 for cities with a population between 50,000 and 100,000. There were 21 events and 1,135 residents participated!
